Storyline

Bond goes on the trail of the 'Moonraker' rocket that has mysteriously disappeared. He flies to California, to meet Hugo Drax, the builder of the machine. Bond is nearly killed several times, and he escapes to Venice, where a mysterious gas is being developed. He works alongside CIA agent Holly Goodhead, who travels with him to Rio De Janeiro in the search for Drax. An attempt by Jaws to kill them fails, and they discover Drax's hide-away in the Amazon rainforest. They discover that he is planning to gas earth, and develop a master race in space to take over earth. Bond and Holly go into outer space, and fight a battle against Drax, who is killed dramatically. Bond and Holly destroy the gas bombs, and return safely home.
