Storyline |
In George Lazenby's first and last Bond mission, 007 once again finds himself linked with the search for Ernst Stavro Blofeld, who escaped in Bond's previous mission. His obsession in the search for Blofeld becomes obvious in this mission. Bond meets up with the attractive Tracy Di Vicenzo and later finds out that she is the daughter of the influential Marc Ange Draco, who asks Bond to marry Tracy in order for him to help in his search for Blofeld. However, Bond declines, but Draco still help due to his obvious love to Tracy. They locate Blofeld in a mountain top headquarters in Switzerland. Bond goes there in disguise, to trace the Blofeld family tree. However, Bond is captured by Blofeld, and then holds the world to ransom with the threat of 'biological' warfare. However, Bond escapes, and he and Draco mount a huge attack on Blofeld's base, and Bond believes he has actually killed Blofeld. Bond marries Tracy and they set off on their honeymoon. However, Blofeld and hitwoman Irma Blunt pass 007 and his new wife, and shot Tracy, who dies. Bond is left devestated……
